For Immediate Release
CHICAGO — December 8, 2025

The Quiet Workplace today announced an exclusive design partnership with AGATI Furniture to develop a breakthrough category of Quiet Workspaces—personal, purpose-built environments that give professionals a protected place to think, focus, and do deep work without distraction.
As organizations struggle with noise, interruptions, and workplace distractions, this design agreement delivers something the modern office has failed to provide: a private sanctuary for uninterrupted thought and meaningful productivity. The partnership unites The Quiet Workplace’s proprietary frameworks—rooted in the bestselling books BRIEF, NOISE, and Quiet Works—with AGATI’s decades of expertise in ergonomics, craftsmanship, and human-centered design.
“Our vision has always been to protect time and attention in a world that steals both,” said Joe McCormack, founder of The Quiet Workplace and author of the Clarity at Work collection. “What began as a concept in our first Quiet Workplace in Southern Pines, North Carolina, is now ready to scale globally. People don’t need more open collaboration—they need quiet time alone. AGATI is the perfect partner to help bring that missing capability to workplaces everywhere.”
Under the agreement, AGATI and The Quiet Workplace will co-design the Quiet Workspace Pod—a crafted 4’ x 10’ personal environment that blends a seated workspace, a writing desk, and a stand-up whiteboard area into one flexible zone for planning, problem-solving, and sustained concentration. Inspired by the privacy of library study carrels and the comfort of first-class airline suites, each Pod acts as a refuge for professionals who need clarity amid constant noise.

“Our design goal is simple: to create a space that protects a person’s attention,” said Joe Agati Jr., President of AGATI Furniture. “This isn’t furniture—it’s a signal that time, focus, and thinking still matter. When someone enters one of these Pods, distractions diminish significantly, and deep work can finally begin.”
Prototype Quiet Workspace Pods are in development, with initial deployments planned for 2026. Early interest includes Fortune 500 organizations and government agencies seeking structured environments to support high-consequence thinking, planning, and execution.
